Choosing where to live

January 1, 2029

Rough Draft 1:

Deciding where you want to live post graduation or even in general is one of those decisions that play a significant role in the trajectory of your life. I think it's up there with choosing your degree and career, or the people you surround yourself with. So, how should one go about rationally deciding where to live?

USA - The USA is in quite the precarious position, they've been the , steering the ship through cold war, and

debts are at alarming rates, Evidently shown in their credit rating downgrade recently.

This isn't a property unique to America either, it seems that the most of the modern economies in this global order seem to be struggling post growth era.

In essence, people need to be more productive, and maybe AI is the only path forward to block this societal collapse.

The truth is I quite like Canada, the nature, the diversity of people and cultures, I've grown up here most of my life.

  • Government competancy
  • Corruption
  • quality of people and leader

-Rational options Singapore, UAE, Saudi, China. Do I want to do deep dive on each, or just cover lightly, what should it cover. History? maybe its current situation? future outlook? Korea? Very impressive growth since WWII, probably primarily due to their but corruption is prevalent/ prominent at nearly every level. If there was a guinness world record on the number of times their presidents went to jail after serving, I'm pretty sure they would hold this record for decades to come. Nordic regions? Highest reported qualities of life, crazy taxes.

A country is shaped by the culture created. Stricter laws

Looking afar

It's important to look not in years, or even decades. A place for generations to come. Give examples. Argentina, the result of a country isnt shown after a decade, it's a timeframe of decades or more. Look through history. What's the foundation built upon?

Overtime, what sets nations apart isn't their current status or the wealth of a nation, but rather the sturdyness of a sound system created by the previous generations, where the vision and quality of its leaders and citizens to continue the legacy set by its predessors. So how does one keep the standard to its level? Culture.

Everything from the selection process of its leaders and such is all dependant on the very start. That is why it is imperative that a birth of a country must be done by a capable visionary whom will be able to establish the foundational pillars of governance. It encompasses every crucial detail, based on what the leader can foresee, and how to retain the bar of excellence for its citizens.
